The Amelia Adams Scholarship Program, originally funded by Amelia Adams, seeks to encourage young and mature students entering into or pursuing a career in education, health, social services, or social justice. Scholarship Program has grown to include multiple scholarships for those seeking higher education, working, and serving their community As part of the Amelia Adams Scholarship Program, Scholars and Leaders in the San Joaquin County can apply for financial support in reaching their educational and career goals.

The Budding Scholars Award
for those going to college, already in college, or seeking to re-enroll.
The Flourishing Professionals Scholarship
for current professionals who would like to expand their knowledge to help them continue “flourishing”.
Roslyn Burse Community Activist Award
The Roslyn Burse Community Activist Award honors the legacy of Roslyn Burse, affectionately known as Ms. Roz, a dedicated community leader in South Stockton. She was deeply committed to serving, teaching, and advocating for residents, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Established by the Amelia Ann Adams Whole Life Center, her family, and friends, this award recognizes individuals who embody her spirit of leadership, selflessness, and service. Nominees should be trusted and respected community leaders who are committed to uplifting South Stockton, demonstrating compassion, encouragement, and a heart for positive change.
William Potter “ Voice of the Streets” Scholarship
The William Potter Voice of the Streets Scholarship is awarded to a young person who has been impacted by the justice system and has chosen to create a new future for themselves. This scholarship provides financial support to help them on their journey of personal growth and community service. Named in honor of William Potter—a mentor, organizer, and advocate for restoration and healing—this scholarship is awarded to individuals who, like Potter, are committed to improving themselves while giving back to their communities.
